Logistics and Supply Chain
Jaiden Sabu
Logistics and Supply Chain, EPP Summer 2025
As a Logistics and Supply Chain Intern at The Source of Hope, I supported the organization’s operational and outreach efforts by combining logistics coordination, event management, vendor relations, and grant research. I helped secure over 500 Kid Combo meal vouchers and 200 lemonade cards from Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, coordinated pickups and deliveries to families and partner organizations, and submitted grant and donation requests to Walmart, Kroger, ALDI, Costco, and Chick-fil-A.
In addition, I managed outreach for community events such as Serving Hope and The QC Show – Hope in Action by creating promotional flyers in Canva, designing Eventbrite pages, coordinating registrations, and expanding awareness through social media platforms. I also gained technical and administrative experience by posting jobs through Handshake and VolunteerMatch, organizing resumes and candidate data in Google Drive and Excel, logging receipts in QuickBooks, creating video content in CapCut, and supporting podcast production. Beyond logistics, I participated directly in service by preparing and serving meals at Serving Hope Saturday events, ensuring dignity and care in every interaction. This internship allowed me to strengthen my skills in logistics management, nonprofit operations, event coordination, and grant research while experiencing firsthand how operational efficiency and compassion intersect to create meaningful community impact.
